So, I think I'll post another one! This is my first "remix" (this is earlier than "Just Dance"). I dunno if it counts as a remix, because really all I did was create all the music to it myself. The bassline is possibly different from the original, but it sounds right--kind of Ratatat-ish, which is cool.
There's a cool choir riff in here that sounded really Sigur Rós to me when I made it. I dunno if it sounds quite as cool with everything else in. (I figured out why: compression. Self-inflicted, too...)
But yeah, other than the bassline and the basic beat, everything including the melodies is original (although it's loosely based off the original music). The whole song starts on a different beat than the original, quite on accident, but it doesn't sound too off unless you listen too hard, which is strange. But yeah! Enjoy!
This is "Just Dance" (by Lady GaGa), as remixed by yours truly. Everything except the vocals (and the Harry Potter quote) was created by me. The bassline is mostly the same as the original (the synth hook is identical), except where I couldn't quite make out what it was and so decided to fill it in with what I made up that fit, and I like it. Besides, mine has the cool gritty effect.
